Middle school is another important phase in a child’s life that acts as a bridge between childhood and adolescence.
At Vega, we understand the importance of a smooth transition during this time. While we build on their curiosity and critical thinking, we also focus on enhancing their problem-solving skills and developing values such as social sensibility, co-operative thinking, and democratic values. Our learners work on projects with a ‘real-life’ relevance and impact such as exploring concepts such as discrimination and disability, which builds empathy and helps them to become advocates for those who don’t have a voice. We also encourage them to ‘dive deep’ into concepts and learn how to analyse them critically. Vega learners are encouraged to express their own opinions and ideas effectively while respecting differing opinions and methods, build their own resilience, actively attempt to solve issues, and become the change-makers of tomorrow.
